Dear friend ...

Life gets busy. It's easy to lose your footing - yourself - in the dance between career and home and family and friends and ... everything else in your life. One day you wake up and realize that you haven't had any time for you. You ask yourself...

When was the last time I sat silence?

When was the last time I did something just for myself?

When was the last time I learned something just for the fun of it?

When was the last time I felt connected to my inner self?

When was the last time I invited ritual into my life?

It's easy to get caught up in the bustle life, but how do you step back? How do you recognize where you are in the cycle and reroute?

When you're in the whirlwind of schedules and meetings, to-do lists and responsibilities, it can feel hard - almost impossible - to find time for you. Your needs. Your wants. Your desires. Your cravings. Your dreams. Your goals.

But dear friend, I can't express enough how important it is to find the time because at the core of all of the schedules and meetings, to-do lists and responsibilities is you. You are at the centre of everything single piece of your life. You are the single most constant voice. To lose yourself in your life is to live on autopilot. No purposeful steering. No charting of territory that is aligned with your goals (because how can you have an idea of where you want to go and align yourself with it if you're lost inside your schedule and what you're going to make for dinner?).

I hear you. I've been there. Heck, I still find myself there sometimes. I've been caught up in the hustle and bustle of responsibilities and extra "stuff" that I decided was important (it wasn't, really). I've wavered on my health. I've gotten sick. I've become prickly in my interactions with others. I've forgotten who I was and derailed from my feeling of alignment. I hear you...and although I have not experienced every single thing that you have I do know what it feels like to be off course. I know what it feels like to wake up in the morning saddened by where you are in life and wondering if this is all that there is.

I'm telling you this because I want you to know that you're not alone. That I've been there and that I'm still there sometimes. That the moments of feeling off course become less frequent and less disorienting as time goes on. I want you to feel hope that you can reroute. That it's not too late (it's never too late). I want you to know that you deserve to feel at the centre of your life. That you feeling aligned and at ease is at the core of showing up to your life as your truest self.

But how do you do this? How do you slow down enough to reroute without feeling like you're teetering on the rails? How do you do this while feeling supported when you do fall? Because it's inevitable and that's okay.

Throughout this blog I will be providing tips, resources, and more to help support you in slowing down, taking stock of where you are, dreaming about where you want to be (regardless of how clear or fuzzy it is), and rerouting so that you can move forward.

In short, we’re all about: spaciousness, mindfulness, intention, ritual, spiritual connection, and (some resemblance of) balance.

I'm so glad you're here and I'm honoured to guide you along this path.

With light,

Dear OneTina QuadeComment
