Offering and Pricing Changes

What we offer and the price we offer it at are subject to change without notice. This may include, but is not limited to, discontinuation and redesign. We are not liable for this.

Products and Services

All of our products and services are subject to our Refund and Exchange Policy, which includes our Cancellation Policy and policy for Order Changes (see "Refund and Exchange Policy" section below). We work diligently to ensure an accurate representation of our products and services through means such as photos and descriptions; however, there may be discrepancies such as colour or distortions in the appearance of an item due to lighting, computer monitors, and other factors. We can guarantee that the general description is accurate. While we make every effort to do so, we do not guarantee that our products and services will meet your expectations. Always read product descriptions and only use as directed.

Product Sizing and Other Variations

Since our products are made of natural materials the exact sizing, colouring, and shape of our products and the components that make our products (e.g. beads) cannot be guaranteed. We will provide estimated sizing of our products and as accurate description and photographs as possible, but please know that slight variations in design and number of beads may occur. This is particularly apparent when ordering our mala bracelets as there may be a slight change in design or number of beads depending on the size you order. If you have a specific request then please contact us so that we can figure something out together.

Shipping Policy

Shipping is calculated in the shopping cart. You can navigate to the shopping cart as your purchase to view the estimated shipping cost. 

All malas are sent with tracking.

For orders sent within Canada, the mala’s journey can be tracked via Canada Post’s website.

For orders sent to the United States, the mala’s journey can be tracked via the United States Postal Service.

For orders sent outside of Canada + the United States, Canada Post relies on the destination country for all status updates once the item leaves Canada.

All other products are sent via letter mail or small package mail with no tracking. At checkout there is an option to upgrade your shipping. Please take a moment to carefully choose which shipping option you would like. We will be unable to make any changes once the package has been sent to the post office.

Any duties, customs, or other fees that may be incurred on an order are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Note that although we would like to be able to send to all countries, there are some to which this is not available.

What happens if I refuse my order from Parvanah Collective OR it is considered undeliverable by the postal service?

If your order arrives and

1: you refuse to pay for taxes, customs duties, and the like; or

2: the item is deemed as non-deliverable by the postal service

then the item is returned to Parvanah Collective. If you refuse a shipment from Parvanah Collective, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Parvanah Collective.

If the cost of the return is greater than the original invoice amount less shipping and a $25 administrative fee (ie. invoice amount – shipping cost – $25 administrative fee) then the package will be abandoned and no refund will be given.  

If the cost of the return is less than the original invoice amount less shipping and a $25 administrative fee (ie. invoice amount – shipping cost – $25 administrative fee) then the following process will be followed:

At this time we will attempt to contact you upon receive of the package at Parvanah Collective home office:

1: via email to the email address provided at checkout; and

2: by phone at the phone number you provided at checkout (we will leave a message for you to return our phone call; long distance charges may apply and are the responsibility of the purchaser).

If we are unable to reach you at that time we will follow the same process (email + phone call) 7 days after the first attempt.If we receive communication from you within the first 30 days of the first attempt of contact then you will be given the choice of:

1: having the package shipped back to you (* see details below); or

2: having a refund issued (** see details below).

  1. *Ship back: If you choose the ship-back option, then the cost of shipping will need to be paid net 7 of the date the invoice is sent to the email provided at checkout for the original invoice. This means that the ship-back invoice must be paid within 7 days of the date the email is sent from Parvanah Collective. If this ship-back invoice is not paid net 7 then the item will be considered abandoned, will be returned back to stock for sale, and no further refunds/exchanges/store credit will be given.
  2. **Any cost incurred by Parvanah Collective at the time of receiving the returned package will be deducted from your refund. Note that refunds will not be issued for custom orders or sale products. In the event of a custom order, the item will either be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s cost or will be put up for sale at Parvanah Collective. If we have not received communication within 30 days of the first attempt of contact then we will mark your purchase as abandoned, put the item(s) back into stock, and refund/exchange/store credit options will no longer be available.

 

Refunds, Exchanges, Cancellations, Expiration

>> Physical Products

Although we do not offer refunds, we do offer exchanges and store credit on physical products.

Please contact us immediately if you would like to pursue an exchange or a digital store credit.

Items that are in their original condition (i.e. have not been worn or used, original tags are still on the item, packaging has not been opened) may be returned within 14 days of arrival or 30 days since the shipment date, whichever is greater, for exchange or a digital store credit less a $10 restockingee; this excludes sale items and custom items.

Return shipping of the item to our business address is your (the customer’s) responsibility. Items must be sent via pre-paid shipping with tracking and insurance. Parvanah Collective is not responsible for any missing or damaged packages en route back to us. These are the sole responsibility of the customer.

In the event of a store credit, the cost of the item(s) returned less the original shipping cost and a $10 restocking fee (i.e. original invoice value – original shipping cost – $10 restocking fee) will be applied to the credit. A digital store credit is valid for 365 days (1 year) from the issue date. 

In the event of an exchange, the value of the item(s) returned less the original shipping cost and a $10 restocking fee (i.e. original invoice value – original shipping cost – $10 restocking fee) will be applied to the new product(s) purchased. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the new items to you. This will be applied to your purchase at checkout.

Please note that Parvanah Collective is not responsible for any courier charges, customs charges, duty or import taxes or any type of fees for returns. These are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please make sure to indicate on the postal form that these are “Items for Return”. If there are fees payable upon delivery to Parvanah Collective then we reserve the right to refuse the package. In this event we are not liable for whether the delivery service decides to return the item to you or not. If we decide to pay the fee upon delivery to Parvanah Collective then this cost will be deducted from the exchange or store credit value.

To return your item you must choose a prepaid shipping from a postal service, it must be insured, and have a tracking number. We are not responsible for lost packages in transit with the carrier; this is the responsibility of the sender. To return or exchange your package please contact us immediately.

If we have sent the wrong item please contact us immediately so that we can resolve the situation for you. In this case we will reimburse the cost shipping the product back to us using a basic prepaid shipping option from a postal service, including insurance and tracking. Please remember to include your invoice information in the contact form. When you mail the item back to us please include a copy of your invoice and all of the original packaging.

Custom items and sale items can not be refunded, returned or exchanged.

Cancellations

We accept cancellations to your order within two (2) hours from time of purchase. At Parvanah Collective we are a small-batch boutique offering the best price we can give you from the very start. (This is why we don’t have very many sales on our product.) Because of this, refunds for cancellations are subject to an administrative fee in order to cover the added expense from our payment providers. This administrative fee is currently 10% of the total sale. If you are only canceling part of your order then the administrative fee will be calculated based off of the subtotal of the item(s) being cancelled + applicable taxes (i.e. not including shipping).

Because of this, if the change requires a refund then the change may be subject to an administrative fee in order to cover the added expense from our payment providers. This administrative fee is currently 10% of the item(s) being refunded + applicable taxes (i.e. not including shipping). Please email us at hello@parvanah.com to discuss the details of your change.

>> Digital Products

No refunds, exchanges, cancellations, or order changes will be provided for digital products such as, but not limited to, e-books, agendas, and other downloadable goods. Digital products such as e-courses can be refunded within 14 days if the customer deems the product did not meet the purpose of the course; however, the customer must show proof of completing at least the first module in the form of a PDF version of the content emailed to hello@parvanha.ca or mailed copies of the work for a refund to be considered.

>> Holistic Guidance / Coaching Services

There are no refunds or exchanges on services that include one-on-one coaching or group coaching. Contracts can not be canceled for private (i.e. one-on-one) services, including private guidance packages and private guidance session bundles, and no refunds will be granted. 

Cancellations/Rescheduling

Private Guidance Session Bundles: When a client books an appointment, the time is set aside specifically for that client. Cancellations are not accepted, but a client may reschedule their appointment for another day and time that works better for them as long as it is within 24 hours of the original booking. All clients are extended a grace of one rescheduling that falls within 24 hours of the original booking. Further requests to reschedule that are received within 24 hours of the original booking will not be accepted; therefore, the original booking will be forfeited. We suggest scheduling your guidance calls every 1 - 3 weeks; however, all guidance session bundles are valid for six months from the date of purchase, which gives you maximum flexibility in scheduling.

To provide flexibility in scheduling, at the bottom of each sales page is the maximum timeframe (i.e. the maximum amount of time a client can take to use the sessions included in the package). Parvanah Wellness Coaching Inc. will endeavour to provide a range of dates and times to schedule the sessions.

Expiration

Damaged Mala

If your mala arrives to you broken then we will replace or repair your piece for free at our own discretion. Please contact us immediately at hello@parvanah.ca and include a description of what happened and a photo of the broken mala. If a replacement or repair is decided then we will ask you to ship the item(s) back to us using a basic prepaid shipping option from a postal service, including insurance and tracking. All jewelry will be subject to inspection to determine correct care and use. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer exchange when contact is made after 14 days of arrival.

>> Broken Mala – within 21 days

If your mala breaks within 21 days of arrival then we will replace or repair your piece for free at our own discretion. Please contact us immediately at hello@parvanah.ca and include a description of what happened and a photo of the broken mala. If a replacement or repair is decided then we will ask you to ship the item(s) back to us via a basic prepaid shipping option from a postal service, including insurance and tracking. Please ensure that you indicate “Return for Repair” on the item description section of our postal carrier’s shipping form. All jewelry will be checked to determine correct care and use. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer free repairs when contact is made after 21 days of arrival. We will cover the cost of shipping the item back to you.

>> Mala Repair – after 21 days

Your mala broke! Congratulations!

When you bring a mala into your life it holds a particular intention or meaning. If it breaks this symbolizes that your relationship with the mala and it’s meaning or intention is complete. This may feel scary to let it go, but it’s a good thing. It means that you’re ready to move forward with a new intention and a new mala!

If your mala breaks after 21 days of arrival then we can repair your piece for $75 + any additional costs that may incur due to missing beads. (We will notify you as soon as possible if the cost is expected to be over $75.) Please contact us immediately at hello@parvanah.ca and include a photo of the broken mala. Because we are consistently turning over our stock we may not have the exact same beads that were used in your mala. We reserve the right to make substitutions as necessary at our own discretion. We will ask you to ship the item(s) back to us via a basic prepaid shipping option from a postal service, including insurance and tracking. Please ensure that you indicate “Return for Repair” on the item description section of our postal carrier’s shipping form. If there are fees are payable upon delivery to Parvanah Collective then we will contact to you to cover the fees or your product will be returned back to you, un-exchanged. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to you (via Canada Post with tracking).
